Health Care

The Southern Nevada Health District is one of the largest local public health organizations in the United States. The health district serves over 1.7 million residents, which is 70 % of Nevada’s total population. Also, the district is responsible with safeguarding the public health of more than 37 million visitors to Las Vegas each year. Las Vegas has 15 acute care hospitals, several rehab and specialty hospitals.
